Sleeping Bear Storage & Truck Rental was founded in 1988. With the first location being in Urbana, OH; it has now grown to encompass the entire Miami Valley. You will find Sleeping Bear in Clark, Champaign, and Greene counties. Below you will find a little piece of history about each facility. Urbana
The Urbana site was built in 1989 on the corner of James Ave. and Edgewood Ave. Sleeping Bear purchased the property in July of 1998, and upgraded the facility in 2001. These renovations consisted of four additional buildings, a front office, automatic gate system, and a thrift store. This site has quickly become the safest and most secure site in Urbana.

Springfield
The Springfield site was originally built in the early 1970's. It has served as a truck repair shop, car lot, and several other small businesses throughout its history. Sleeping Bear purchased the facility in 2003; which is located off of Mitchell Blvd in the center of Springfield. The entire facility was remodeled during the summer 2003 with upgrades including a new roof, interior walls, overhead doors, front office, security system, facility lighting, and fencing.

Fairborn
The Fairborn site was originally built in the 1920's as Osborn Lumber Company. while the city was still known as Osborn, Ohio. The site rests on four acres at the cross of Main and East Dayton Drive downtown Fairborn. In 2004 the site was purchased by Sleeping Bear Storage and was converted into a storage facility with indoor and outdoor storage available. The site is protected by a fire suppression system which is inspected yearly by the Fairborn City Fire Department. The site also features an automatic gate system. The entire site was remodeled in 2008.
All three facilities offer moving supplies such as: moving boxes, box tape, glass packing kits, dish packing kits, bubble wrap, mattress bags, and pad locks.
